 DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY POLICY

Caliber Global Consulting provides consulting services in the provision of cloud accounting and other business systems and as such we continue to only hold data that directly relates to communications we conduct with business professionals that would be interested in our services and technology. This includes partners, prospects and people within third party affiliate organizations.

What data do we gather?

This website is administered by Caliber Global Consulting G.S. Limited. We want you to feel secure when visiting our site and are committed to maintaining your privacy when doing so. The information below provides an overview of how we protect your privacy whenever you are on this site.

Data on this site is gathered in two ways: indirectly (for example, through cookies) and/or directly (for example, when you provide data on various response forms). We keep a record of when and how you provided us with consent and we keep a record of exactly what you were told at the time.

Data collected indirectly: includes your Internet address so that we can track unique visits to our site for analytic purposes. The use of cookies on our web site enables us to personalise your experience of the site by recording details about use of the site as a file on your computer. The cookies we use identify you only as a number unless specifically stated otherwise at the place you choose to accept a cookie. (You can disable cookies on your computer by changing the settings in preferences or options menu in your browser.)

Data collected directly: We collect data when you choose to submit it to us throughout our site. For example, we provide the opportunity to register for information, to enquire about and order a service, or to download product data sheets. When we collect this type of data, we are doing so in response to your request and will retain this data (including the date you registered and the originating request) so we can share additional information about our services.

You are free to request removal of your information either by “unsubscribing” via an emarketing email, or by emailing and requesting no further unsolicited contact, this is also how you can exercise your “right to be forgotten” and request we remove your identifying details from our database.

How do we use this data?

Data collected indirectly isn’t used for anything more than to determine what is most effective about our site, to help us identify ways to improve it and to determine how we can tailor www.aqilla.com to make it more effective.

Data collected directly may, in addition to being used to execute your original request (e.g. event registration or collateral download) may also be used to contact you at a later date to share news about our services that we believe will be of interest to you. We may also use data for other purposes, which we would describe to you at the point we collect the data – for example if you are invited to register for an event.

Do we share your data with outside parties?

We don’t sell individual data and we share it only with our advisors, suppliers and partners. But again, before you submit any data, we will notify you of the reason we are asking you for specific data, and it is then up to you whether or not you want to provide it.

What about sensitive personal data?

We do not typically collect sensitive personal data through this site. If we do seek to collect such data, we will ask you to consent to our proposed uses of the data. We may also collect some sensitive personal data incidentally. By providing us with unsolicited sensitive personal data, you consent to our using the data subject to applicable law as described in this Privacy Statement.

The references to “sensitive personal data” are to the various categories of personal data identified by European and other data privacy laws as requiring special treatment, including in some circumstances the need to obtain explicit consent. These categories comprise personal identity numbers, personal data about personality and private life, racial or ethnic origin, nationality, political opinions, membership of political parties or movements, religious, philosophical or other similar beliefs, membership of a trade union or profession or trade association, physical or mental health, genetic code, addictions, sexual life, property matters or criminal record (including data about suspected criminal activities).

Do we give you access to your data?

You are entitled to know whether we hold data about you and, if we do, to have access to that data and require it to be corrected if it is inaccurate. You can do this upon request.

What about data security?

We take appropriate steps to maintain the security of your data wherever it may be kept. The open nature of the Internet is such that data may flow over networks without security measures and may be accessed and used by people other than those for whom the data is intended.

We take your consent seriously.
